Coventry City forward Leon Clarke has been talking about hitting the twenty goals in a season mark.
Clarke completed the feat when he scored his eighth goal since moving to the Sky Blues in the 2-0 win at AFC Bournemouth after scoring twelve for Scunthorpe United whilst on loan there.
"I didn't think I was going to score 20 goals this season because I was at Charlton Athletic and I wasn't getting a look-in, " said Clarke to the club website.
"But I went to Scunthorpe and did well, scoring plenty of goals for them. I knew if I went somewhere else and hit the ground running, I could carry on the form. "I was happy with the way I took the goal and to pass 20 goals in one season is really good for me, but it was more important that we got the three points."
