City boss's promise Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd this evening promised that he would fill the Ricoh Arena.Speaking to the BBC Coventry & Warwickshire's Geoff Foster after the 2-1 defeat to Preston North End, the City manager said that "he would make tickets so hard to come by at the Ricoh Arena and Marlon King would be a part of that."Boothroyd looks like he will have his work cut out in convincing the stay away fans to return as the defeat was watched by a crowd of 14,925 and was one that saw 374 visiting fans, parties from eight schools in Coventry & Warwickshire on cheap tickets that filled the lower sections of the CT Stand in addition to season ticket holders who are counted whether they actually attend the game or not. The crowd was down on last season's attendance of 15,822 and was the lowest for a game against Preston since City moved into the Ricoh Arena in 2005.
