City boss pledges care for duo Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has vowed to look after his young players Thorn took both of his youngsters off during the 3-0 defeat at Ipswich on Monday night and he told the CT's Andy Turner: “I will look after the young ones because they are the future of our club and I don’t want them being affected.   “It is all about their development and if we have to take them out and put them back in so be it. “But I don’t want to react to one game. Speaking more about Cyrus Christie and Gael Bigirimana, Thorn added: They are made of stern stuff. "They have pulled trees up with their performances this season but we have to look after them. “They are young boys and they will have a dip and that goes with all young players. “It is important that we manage them properly because they were playing against players with more than 2,000 appearances between them on Monday night and we’ve had them for seven games, so we have to watch them closely.”
