Thorn keen to end with win

Manager Andy Thorn is determined to end Coventry`s season on a high as his side travel to Carrow Road looking to spoil Norwich`s promotion party. Thorn has orchestrated an upturn in fortunes for the Sky Blues since taking charge less than two months ago, winning three, drawing four and losing just two of his nine matches at the helm. Despite Saturday`s trip to already-promoted Norwich being the last game of the season, Thorn remains fully focused on registering a positive result to keep the optimism going into 2011/12. He said: "The way things are going we`d like the season to keep going but it gives us a chance to regroup and assess everything and get things ready for the start of next season. "We definitely want to finish with a flourish. It would have been nice to go to Norwich with something on the game, that`s for sure. But there is from our point of view and I`m sure they`ll be professional and want to turn in a performance. We`ve got one more game to go, we`ve done a lot of good work and we want to go again on Saturday. "It`s important we carry on progressing. We`ve had a fine run-in over the last nine games and we want to take that on. It`s about setting yourself standards and I always think the way you finish a season you start the following one the same way. We`ve finished quite well, we want to take the Norwich game and add that to the good performances and results."
