Coventry City youngster George Thomas scored for Wales U17 as they progressed to the Elite Qualifying Round of the European Championship with a 3-0 win over Slovenia at Sportni Park, Solovenska Bistrica.
Wales needed to beat Slovenia after a 5-5 draw against Hungary and a 0-0 draw against Scotland to progress into the Elite Round next year and were 2-0 up through Liverpool's Harry Wilson who had scored in the 37th & 66th minute, when Thomas struck in the 78th minute to give Wales a 3-0 win.
City defender Cian Harries also played in the 3-0 win which sees Wales finish second behind Scotland who beat Hungary.
