Conor leaves on initial loan Conor Thomas has joined Premier League giants on an initial loan to Liverpool. Coundon hailing Thomas burst onto the Coventry City scene as a 14 year old when he made his City U18's debut. The England U17 international midfielder had been tracked by a number of clubs and after playing the whole of City's 3-2 defeat at Birmingham City on Saturday as a late replacement for Sammy Clingan, he went to Liverpool today for talks and has signed on an initial loan with a view to a permanent signing.
