The Tough Times Will Make Us Stronger - Aidy

City boss on dealing with tough times Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd insists that the tough times that the team is experiencing will make them stronger. Speaking to the CT's Alan Poole, Boothroyd said: "I am sick of answering questions and injuries and suspensions, It's getting on my nerves but at the end of it, I know that this is probably going to be my best season in terms of experience. "We've certainly had some tough times recently but you don't moan about them, you grasp them, take them on the chin because it makes you stronger and better. "I think we have got some very good young players here and the fact that they have gone through some good spells and bad ones will make them better players because if you like, they are getting their Football League legs. "We have a situation where some of the younger players have gone from a nine out of ten in one game to a two or three in the next whereas the senior players are maybe a steady six or seven and that tends to get you more points. "We are a team that is going to make mistakes because of where we are at the moment. But that's all part of learning the game and I'm looking to see who steps up in this period and says: 'I'm here and ready' "That's what life is like sometimes. You get dealt cards that are not particularly good but you have to work with them until you get the next hand."   Picture copyright of Covsupport News Service. Credit CNS/KM
