Thoughts of new coach

New Coventry City coach Steve Taylor has made it clear to the City player exactly what is expected of them.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player's Nick Connoll, Taylor said: "The players know exactly what we expect and that's 100 per cent. Training will be different every day but will expect the maximum from every player and every individual.

"Hopefully with the first two days training that we've had we've seen that.    "There is no truer saying that hard work beats talent if talent doesn't work hard and I've only been here two days but today was better than yesterday and there's certainly enough about the players here to do better than they have been doing.   "They just have to have that mental toughness and take responsibility for their own performance. If you have 11 players doing that then results will follow.   "We've had Thursday and Friday with the players to get amongst them and try to get a smile back on their faces because it's key that they enjoy coming into work.   "That's the first thing we noticed with them and you have to get them smiling again because that's the way you get the best out of them."   More on this: http://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/article/taylor-on-work-ethic-380981.aspx
