Team GB Ladies Coming To Coventry

Hope Powell's Great Britain Ladies side are coming to Coventry on Friday.

Britain qualified for the Quarter-Final game versus Canada at the City Of Coventry Stadium on Friday with a 1-0 win over Brazil at Wembley Stadium, thanks to a goal from Steph Houghton.

The crowd for the game was given at over 70,000 making it the most attended Women's football match in this country ever.

At the City Of Coventry Stadium on Tuesday night and in Great Britain's Group, New Zealand beat Cameroon 3-1 to book their place in the Quarter-Finals.

Captain Becky Smith scored first for the Kiwis in the 43rd minute with a second coming from an Sonkeng own goal in the 49th minute.Gregorius added a third before Cameroon scored a consolation goal through Gabrielle Onguene in the 75th minute.
