According to The People, Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy will sign the out of contract former Coventry City midfielder Jay Tabb.
The Republic Of Ireland international is not being offered a new deal by Reading and has been on loan at the longest serving Championship club.
The paper claims that McCarthy is also interested in signing Wolves striker Kevin Doyle and Notts County's Alan Judge.
