Coventry striker Freddy Eastwood has been ruled out for two months after a knee operation. The former Wolves striker has impressed for the Sky Blues this season and manager Aidy Boothroyd admits it is a big blow for the club. "He's had an operation to sort some cartilage out. It's disappointing because he did really well at the start of the season and I've been really impressed with him," Boothroyd told the Coventry Telegraph. "His work-rate, attitude and willingness to chase lost causes has really impressed me and that's why I definitely want him on the bus to be part of what we are trying to do here. So it's a blow, but we have to ride it out." Eastwood is likely to be replaced by new Sky Blues signing Marlon King in the squad for Saturday's game against Preston.
