According to media reports, Sunderland have revived their interest in Coventry City keeper Keiren Westwood.With keeper Craig Gordon being diagnosed has having a broken arm and likely to miss the start of the Premier League season on August 14th, The Mackams are looking for a new keeper to step in.Former City manager Eric Black who is assistant to Steve Bruce at Sunderland, has already watched Westwood on a couple of occasions and it is understood the injury to Gordon has seen the Republic Of Ireland international keeper, who watched City's friendly at Nuneaton Town on Wednesday night, so that City could cast an eye over trialist keeper Kevin Elegaard, back on their wanted list.So far, City have not received any bids for Westwood.Picture copyright of Covsupport News Service.
