Former Coventry City youngster Danny Sturridge is out of England's friendly against Brazil on Wednesday night.
The Liverpool player, who has scored four goals since his move from Chelsea, has been ruled out with a thigh injury.
Another former City youngster in Michael Carrick has withdrawn along with Jermaine Defoe.
