Sturridge Hits The Winner For Pearce's England
City old boys in England U21's win Former Coventry City youngster Danny Sturridge scored the only goal as England U21's won 1-0 in Portugal.Former City loanee Jordan Henderson played the whole game at the Barcelos Cidade Stadium, Barcelos whilst Jack Cork who was on loan at the Ricoh Arena last season, was an 84th minute substitute for Danny Wellbeck.Sturridge scored the goal in the 32nd minute and gives England, managed by former Sky Blue Stuart Pearce, an even better chance of making the 2011 European U21 Championships.
