Platt and McSheffrey are back Coventry City manager Andy Thorn is expected to name a virtually unchanged side from the one that beat Derby County 2-0 last week, Dunn being the exception as Murphy is not expected to be fit enough after tweaking his hamstring. Strikers, Clive Platt and Gary McSheffrey have returned to fitness, but are unlikely to  start, although they may feature on the bench. Thorn confirmed, “Clive Platt is back in the squad. He’s had two 90 minutes and a 60 but you have to remember he didn’t play a game in the pre-season which was unfortunate for him." “It’s good to have Gary McSheffrey back because we have got competition for places and that’s probably why the standard has gone up in training as well. All of them are in my thoughts for Ipswich and it’s nice to have a squad to pick from.” Speaking to the CT, Thorn said, “The big thing is to maintain the standards we have set. We can’t guarantee results but what we can guarantee is a performance, so it’s important we maintain the standard of performance we have had recently and if we do that we will be fine.”
