Jordan Stewart could be given his Coventry City debut this afternoon when the Sky Blues take on Hartlepool United at the Ricoh Arena.

The former Leicester defender, who has joined until the end of May, could replace Carl Dickinson who has returned to parent club Watford after his loan expired.

Stewart has been under-going extensive training at Ryton since he joined due to him not having played since last year and played in the U21's defeat at Leeds United on Wednesday.

With Leon Clarke (ankle), Richard Wood (groin), Blair Adams (knee) and Stephen Elliott (knee) all out, City boss Steven Pressley is expected to keep faith with most of the team that came back to draw against Colchester United on Tuesday night.

Hartlepool boss John Hughes, who had Pressley as a player at Falkirk, will have veteran striker Steve Howard, Andy Monkhouse and Antony Sweeney all available.

Definitely out are defenders Jordan Richards and Jack Baldwin who both have knee injuries.
