Spot-on Jutkiewicz: I felt confident

Coventry striker Lukas Jutkiewicz revealed his confidence far outweighed any pressure as he stepped up to strike the 90th-minute penalty that earned a 2-2 draw at Watford on Saturday. The Sky Blues looked destined for defeat as they found themselves 2-0 down with just two minutes remaining. But David Bell`s 88th-minute strike was quickly followed up by Lloyd Doyley`s foul on Richard Keogh in the penalty area. Jutkiewicz, a summer signing from Everton, was duly handed the ball before dispatching a cool penalty into the bottom corner for his first goal in a Coventry shirt. "I felt confident, I always feel confident. I asked for the ball, it was handed to me and I was happy to take it," he told Sky Blues Player after revealing a penalty taker was not nominated prior to kick-off. "It was (a pressure moment) but I`m confident I can score from that distance every time so I`ll always want to take a penalty if it`s there. "(Getting off the mark) is the main thing for a striker, you want to get your first goal as early as possible so it`s nice I was able to do that."
