Sports Minister Admits To Being Pretty Much Helpless

Sports Minister Hugh Robertson has had admitted that he has very little power to intervene in the dispute between SISU and Arena Coventry Limited.

Twenty two MP's signed an early day motion but speaking to Sky Sports News, the Sports Minister said; "I have very little power to intervene.

"The Football League and Premier League have made great progress in introducing financial fair play and similar legisalation so actually the operating enviroment is much tougher.

"With the issue in Coventry, any club moving away from its supporters base is a great shame and I hope they find a satisfactory solution as soon as possible."
