Coventry Sphinx won 3-1 at Coleshill Town in a Midland Alliance fixture this afternoon.
Danny McSheffrey's side who need to raise around £35k to get their ground ready by March if they are to be promoted, took the lead at Pack Meadow in the 11th minute through Luke Williams, who, four minutes later, fired Sphinx into a two goal lead with a stunning goal.
Coleshill pulled one back in the 43rd minute through Richard Gregory but an excellent victory was wrapped up in the 66th minute when Dion Barnett scored to give Sphinx a 3-1 win in their final fixture of 2011.
