The win away lose at home run of form that Coventry Sphinx have against Tividale continued as Sphinx were beaten 2-1 at Sphinx Drive.

A changed Sphinx side were a goal down after eight minutes when Matt Jukes netted from fifteen yards.

A great save from Kyle Brady by Sphinx keeper Carl O'Neill in 37th minute stopped the visitors from adding a second and before the half finished O'Neill twice denied the Tividale attack.

One hundred and ten seconds into the second half, Tividale had a free kick. Former Coventry City youngster Avun Jephcott leaned in a Sphinx defender and this allowed Kyle Brady to volley into the bottom corner of the corner.

Sphinx started to play and in the 63rd minute, it was game on when Rikki Cutting drilled home with a low shot into the net.

Both sides had chances but it was not Sphinx's day and Tividale took the win.
