The only place in Coventry where you can attend an FA Cup match this season, unless something dramatically changes with Coventry City FC's situation, is at Sphinx Drive and tomorrow the good people of Coventry have that opportunity as Coventry Sphinx take on Lye Town in a Preliminary Round game.
Sphinx won 3-0 at Bewdley Town to see up this meeting with Lye Town who also play in the same West Midlands Regional League as Bewdley.
The sides have met before with Sphinx winning 5-0 at Stourbridge Road in 2011 and Sphinx, who are unbeaten in five matches, will be fully aware of the threat posed by a side which convincingly knocked out Midland Alliance side Westfields in the Extra Preliminary Round.
Most of the sixteen who were in the squad for the 1-0 win over Highgate United will be available for Sphinx.
Kick off is at 3pm and admission is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.
