Danny McSheffrey on tonight's game. Coventry Sphinx manager Danny McSheffrey has said that he is looking forward to tonight's visit of a Coventry City side. Speaking to Covsupport News Service, McSheffrey said about the game which kicks off at 7pm at Sphinx Drive: '' I am very grateful that Gregor Rioch has again agreed to bring a team to Sphinx Drive and it will be a good test to see how far we have come in preseason. "So far the results have reflected that our preparations have not been all that but in all honesty I agree with Andy Thorn in Monday's Coventry Telegraph that preseason results mean nothing and although it's nice to get into good habits of winning matches it is equally as good to have some negative results and a reality check in preseason so you can adapt / react to weak areas and improve them whilst the results mean nothing. "I am excited about Tuesday's game against a Coventry City side and am look forward to Saturday when we kick off the season away to Heath Hayes. "
