Spain For Curtis Wynter
New start for Curtis Former Coventry City player Curtis Wynter is playing for Jerez Industrial in the Spanish Tercera División.The team, which plays at the Estadio La Juvetud in Jerez de la Frontera in Cadiz, was rescued from bankrupcy in the summer by the Glenn Hoddle Football Academy which Wynter joined after trials at a number of clubs including Bournemouth, Accrington, Tranmere Rovers, Kidderminster and Nuneaton during pre-season, following the decision by Chris Coleman not to give him a contract for this season.Curtis speaksWynter joined City as an eight year old and came through the Academy before making his first team debut against Kidderminster Harriers in the FA Cup in 2009 and then his league debut against Blackpool a fortnight later.Last season, the defender was injured in the first half of City's opening friendly at Wrexham and missed most of the season through various injuries.The Jerez Industrial side is made up of mainly English players who have been released by clubs and sees Hoddle with an overseeing role for the side which has a Spanish manager and head coach whilst Nigel Spackman, Graham Rix and Dave Beasant are amongst the coaches.
