Snubbed By Wayne Rooney
City supporter gets Rooney snub Coventry City supporter Brian Wright from Holbrooks who has not missed an England game home or away since 1988 claims he was snubbed by Wayne Rooney at a meet the players event for loyal England supporters. Wright, along with his daughters and his Shrek mascot attended the event at Arsenal's training ground earlier this week. "All the players came over to chat to us but Rooney," Brian told the Observer's Steve Carpenter. "I was really disappointed because he is one of my favourite players. "Everyone else had time to come over and pose for photos and sign autographs, but he just walked off the training ground and sat on the coach. "We saw Rio Ferdinand point out our mascot to him before the session, maybe that's why he didn't want to come over."
