Richard Keys on that incident The future of Richard Keys at Sky Sports is unclear this afternoon. The Coventry City supporter was suspended for making comments about Coventry assistant referee Sian Massey when he thought the microphone was off and said in an interview with Talk Sport:"I have to ask myself whether I want to carry on."We were wrong, it was wrong. "It is an irrelevance what I am feeling, I am not the centre of the story. "I am trying to correct matters that have been exposed as wrong. But before I get on with my life it is important that Sian Massey gets on with her career. "I hope this [apology] starts the process of recovery and everybody can step back and realise that we understand the magnitude of what happened."There's a fire-storm raging out there," Keys went on to say. "It is difficult to get across the way I am feeling and correct the misinformation that is flying about. "It shouldn't have happened. It did, what can you do beyond that? "We were having a bit of fun and we got it wrong. I have never had a problem saying sorry when I have been wrong. "My mate has been sacked - the view of the majority is that he should have been. I have to consider all those things." Keys admitted that he had apologised to Sian Massey and said: "I rang on behalf of Andy and myself and made it an official apology. "She accepted and we enjoyed some banter together. We left on good terms. "I expressed my disappointment that Andy and I in having a little bit of fun got it wrong. I am sorry and it should not have happened." Keys admitted that he also tried to contact Karren Brady but could not speak to her directly, admitting: "I tried to ring Karren twice on Sunday night. "There was no answer on and there is no answerphone on it. I texted her in case she did not know who was trying to call and asked her to ring me back. "I tried to ring her to say sorry but she did not take my call." Another video of Keys making sexist comments has been unearthed. To see it click on http://blogs.coventrytelegraph.net/oddballs/
