The early diagnosis having been stretchered off at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday was that the midfielder had suffered a suspected leg fracture, but it may be the case that it is just badly swollen and bruised, although that would still rule him out for up to a month. "The news is a little better than we thought," said manager Chris Coleman. "It was badly swollen on Saturday and we suspected a fracture but we are hoping and praying that is not the case now. "He is on crutches and it is still badly swollen and in the next few days we will know for sure."
