Sky Blues stretched for Posh clash

11 December 2009 09:09
The Sky Blues last tasted victory back at the end of September and have picked up four points from a possible 30 since then to slump to the fringes of the bottom three.[LNB]Victory against bottom-side Posh is a must and Coleman admits it will feel like 20 points and not three were they to do so. But if they are to triumph they will have to do it without as many as seven first-team players.[LNB]Right-back Jordan Clarke was the latest into the treatment room after sustaining a split in a knee ligament during Wednesday night's 2-0 defeat to Newcastle. He now faces around six to eight weeks on the sidelines.[LNB]Appropriately, captain Stephen Wright - the only player who returns for Chris Coleman - will slot straight in having completed his two-match suspension.[LNB]Defenders Richard Wood (ankle), Marcus Hall (calf) and Ben Turner (ankle), midfielders Isaac Osbourne (knee) and Sammy Clingan (broken toe) and substitute goalkeeper Dimi Konstantopoulos (knock) all remain on the sidelines.[LNB][LNB]
