The whole of Britain has been hit with snow and sub-zero temperatures this week and, with more expected before the weekend, sports events almost everywhere are being wiped out, including matches in the Championship.[LNB]But Sky Blues officials insist - barring any severe last-minute problems - the visit of Barnsley will go ahead.[LNB]Under-soil heating at the Ricoh Arena means the pitch is in good condition and has subsequently allowed Chris Coleman to put his players through their paces this week.[LNB]Work has and is now constantly being carried out to clear snow and ice from the stands, car parks and all areas and approaches around the stadium.[LNB]Anthony Mundy, facilities director at the Ricoh Arena, told the club's official website: "We would encourage supporters to give themselves extra time for their journeys and turn up as early as possible."[LNB][LNB]
