Sky Blues boss hails `terrific` Taarabt

Coventry manager Aidy Boothroyd felt QPR star Adel Taarabt was the difference between the two sides as the Moroccan inspired Rangers to a 2-1 victory at Loftus Road. The Championship leaders were trailing to a shock opener from Marlon King when Taarabt equalised with another dazzling solo effort to add to his growing collection. Taarabt left two defenders trailing before unleashing an unstoppable curler into the corner of the net for his 13th goal of the season. And there was more to come 11 minutes from time when he lofted a pass with the precision of a sand wedge into the path of Wayne Routledge, who marked his second Rangers debut with the winner. "The difference was Taarabt," said Boothroyd. "He's an exceptional player, I was tempted to run on and kick him myself at one stage. He was absolutely terrific. "How do you stop him? I'm not really bothered now, we've played them twice. "He didn't do much at our place and I don't think he did too much this time, but then suddenly he hits a 40-yard pass with the outside of his foot and you have to admire it. With that talent you have to ask why is he here?"
