Shearer training with Saints
Former goalkeeper having trial with Scottish club Former Coventry City goalkeeper Scott Shearer is set to have a trial with Scottish club St. Johnstone. The Perth club are in Warwicksire for some pre season training and have invited the 29 year old former Sky Blue and Bristol City goal keeper and will then decide whether to offer him a contract. Shearer is out of contract at the moment.He left his previous club Wycombe Wanderers at the end of the last season after rejecting a new deal. St. Johnstone manager Derek McInnes is trying to find a new 'keeper since Alan Main left the club at the end of last season.
