Shearer at The Ricoh?
England legend seen at The Ricoh Unconfirmed reports have said the former England captain Alan Shearer has been seen at The Ricoh. Several people have contacted the Coventry Telegraph saying the same thing, that they have seen the former Newcastle and England striker at the ground. With the bookies former favourite, Steve Cotterill, now their favourite to take the vacant Plymouth job, the two front runners for the Coventry City managers post are Paul Hart and Tony Mowbray. If the sightings are true and connected to the vacant managers job, could Shearer, who briefly managed Newcastle in a failed attempt at keeping them in the Premiership, be in line for some kind of striker coaching position?
