Selection headache for Aidy

Coventry boss Aidy Boothroyd has a welcome midfield selection dilemma for the visit of Sheffield United. Sammy Clingan is fit and back in contention after getting around 10 days training under his belt upon his return from a knee injury. Skipper Lee Carsley also returns to the fold having been rested for last Saturday`s FA Cup triumph over Crystal Palace, while Carl Baker was recalled to Boothroyd`s XI and impressed. Aron Gunnarsson, Michael Doyle and Gary McSheffrey are regulars and strong contenders to keep three of the midfield spots, and they will likely be joined by Carsley. Boothroyd also has decisions to make in defence with fit-again left-back Stephen O`Halloran impressing on his full debut last Saturday and Martin Cranie and Richard Wood - who switched across from full-back - at the heart of defence, with regular centre-back Nathan Cameron rested for the cup tie. Striker Clive Platt has impressed in training this week and is pushing to start, but Marlon King serves the third game of his three-match suspension while centre-backs James McPake (lower back) and Ben Turner (knee) remain sidelined.
