Schmeichel Jnr Off To Leicester?
City Old Boy News Former Coventry City loanee keeper Kasper Schmeichel is to join Leicester City. However, the Danish keeper has said that he knows nothing about the news His club Leeds United are being reported as having accepted an offer for the Dane for an undisclosed amount, or around £1m as reported by Sky Sports. Schmeichel made nine appearances for City in 2008 on loan from Manchester City. As well as his loan at the Ricoh Arena, Schmeichel has also had loans at Darlington, Bury, Falkirk and Cardiff. After he was released by Manchester City, he played for Notts County before joining Leeds in 2010. Schmeichel has said that he enjoys being a Leeds United player, had not rejected a contract at Elland Road as he had not been offered one and was not happy with the news of this move that he did not know anything about.
