The Save Our City Campaign Group have called for more information to be made available about the latest bid for the club by Gary Hoffman.
Tweeting, the group said: "As for Hoffman - we do not know what is being proposed, who the backers are, plans for the team, stadium, etc are. "Without more information we cannot give our endorsement to the alleged / rumoured Hoffman bid.
"We support anyone who is willing to put CCFC on a sound financial footing with a long term plan of self sufficiency, plans for on field investment, more fans involvement at decision making level, giving the club back to the community."Source: FOOTYMAD
