Royal Fusiliers Win Ricoh Charity Match

Memorial match for heroes The 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers beat a team from Central Networks Depot 4-1 at Hinckley tonight at the Ricoh Arena.The charity match was held to remember Sergeant Simon Valentine from Bedworth, Lance Corporal James Fullarton and Fusilier Shaun Bush from Coventry, Fusilier Louis Carter from Nuneaton, Corporal Joey Etchells from Mossley, Fusilier Simon Annis from Salford and Fijian-born Fusilier Pat Suesue, who were all killed in action in Afghanistan.Over £5k had been raised before the game and proceeds from the game will be given to Help for Heroes, The Royal British Legion, The Royal Fusiliers Aid Society and The Forces Children's Trust.
