Roger Wood, the Chairman of the Birmingham County Football Association, which includes Coventry City, Premier League Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion, Championship sides Birmingham City and Wolverhampton Wanderers plus all the non-league, Sunday league teams, junior sides etc in our area, has sadly passed away this morning.
Mr Wood had been the Chairman of the County FA for the last 22 years and done a fine job.
The thoughts of all in West Midlands and Warwickshire football are with his family, friends and colleagues at this sad time.
