Robins On His Way Out Of Barnsley

Former City short listee has his contract terminated Mark Robins, who was one of the five shortlisted for the Coventry City manager's job, has had his manager's contract at Barnsley FC terminated. BBC Radio Sheffield are reporting that Robins, who is also wanted by Ray Ranson to manage the Sky Blues if he were to take over the club again, is believed  to have received a formal letter informing him that he is now serving a 12-month notice period as per the terms of his contract. The radio station also understands that Robins and Reds owner Patrick Cryne have had a disagreement over next season's budget and the overall running of the club moving forward. Neither have been available for comment.
