City Academy Boss On U18's Win

Coventry City Academy Boss Gregor Rioch has been talking about City U18's excellent 5-2 win over Brentford at the Alan Higgs Centre.

James Maddison scored a hat-trick as the Sky Blues came from a goal down to win in what was a highly entertaining Sky Blues performance.

City had a number of injuries including Jack Finch and Ivor Lawton, who both featured for City's first team in pre-season and had to play a few players out of position and Rioch told Kieran Crowley: "It took us a bit of time to get into the game but I am really pleased for the boys as we have been two and a half weeks without a game.

"We found ourselves a goal behind by trying to over-play a little bit but when we actually got a grip on the game, we proved to be the better side and that was really pleasing to see."
