Ricoh Arena bosses are disappointed by the decision which will see Villa Park hosting 2015 Rugby World Cup matches rather than Coventry.
Speaking about the decision, one Ricoh Arena boss told Free Radio's Darryl Murphy: 'We are extremely disappointed not to have been selected as a host venue for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
"We felt we had put forward a compelling case for our inclusion."
