No New Meeting Planned

Arena Coventry Limited have said that there are no new plans for any meeting with Coventry City FC and their owners SISU to discuss the Ricoh Arena rent situation and any possible legal action.

ACL had given SISU 21 days to pay or face being wound up but that deadline passed on Boxing Day.

Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph, an ACL spokesperson said; "There has been further correspondence between ACL and SISU, the Mayfair based Hedge Fund which owns Coventry City FC during the Christmas period, but no agreement has yet been reached.

"The Board of ACL has been trying to resolve this matter but is considering its legal options and will meet to discuss the issue in the near future. The Board meeting has yet to be scheduled at this time."

Coventry City Vice Chairman John Clarke said that there was nothing to be add to the statements the club had already made.
