Reid Scores But Stevenage Lose Final
City Old Boy News Former Coventry City youngster Craig Reid scored for Stevenage FC tonight but his side finshed as runners up in the Herts Senior Cup Final to Barnet. Charlie Stimson put Barnet ahead in the first half but Craig Reid levelled shortly after the restart when he curled a loose ball into the top corner. Stevenage had plenty of attacks but Barnet attacked down the right and Stimson scored to give Barnet the cup. Locally, Atherstone Town lost 7-0 at home to Marlow whilst goals from Rathbone and Witts gave Bedworth United a 2-2 draw at Daventry Town. Southam United beat Castle Vale JKS 5-0, Kenilworth Town beat Earlswood 2-1 and Leamington Hibernian lost 5-2 at Blackwood.
