Celtic are the latest club interested in Keiren Coventry City chairman Ray Ranson has stated that they would have to be forced to sell Keiren Westwood. Ranson was responding to press speculation surrounding Westwood and has said his highly rated 'keeper would not be leaving Coventry for free and he would not be allowed to run down his contract. Ranson said he is hopeful that Westwood will sign a new contract with the Sky Blues that will keep him at The Ricoh for a few more years to come. Ranson told The Express, "All it is at the moment is speculation. We are desperately trying to get him to sign a new contract as he's got 12 months left. If it gets to next summer then we would lose him for nothing on a Bosman free transfer , so that won't happen I can assure you. We'd be forced to sell him." "He won't be leaving this club for nothing, that's for certain. Until he or his agent turn round to us and say he's definitely not signing a new contract then we are very optimistic."
