Over the opening 18 games of the season, the Sky Blues have felt the effects of a squad light in numbers and have drifted from a mid-table position looking at the play-offs to one in the lower regions just three points off the drop zone.[LNB]The amount of money available to manager Chris Coleman will remain closely under wraps although further additions to his ranks will come as a welcome and much-needed boost as the threat of departures continues to loom.[LNB]Asked whether Coventry fans should expect any New Year presents in the transfer window, Ranson told Sky Blues Player: "I never make any promises but I should imagine we've got a few.[LNB]"Chris was involved in a board meeting a few weeks ago, he comes in a couple of times a year, and we had an open and frank discussion on potential targets and how he'd like to strengthen the squad.[LNB]"So yes, I'm expecting to be quite busy in January."[LNB][LNB]
