QPR after Dann
Liverpool and Arsenal interest wanes Premier League new boys Queens Park Rangers are the latest club interested in signing former Coventry City defender Scott Dann from Birmingham City. Coventry City will benefit from a sell on clause that was part of the deal that took Dann from The Ricoh to St Andrews on 2008. QPR now have the financial backing of their new owner Tony Fernandes who has already bankrolled to transfer of Joey Barton from Newcastle United. Birmingham City are eager to offload Dann as they are in urgent need of funds themselves now that their owner is having his own financial troubles in Hong Kong.
