City Manager To Take Part Along With City Captain

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley will play in the Ross Emslie Memorial Match at the Ricoh Arena.

The City boss will take to the pitch whilst City skipper Carl Baker will captain "Team Rossy" in a match on Sunday December 1st, organised by Lee Thomas the Secretary of Coventry Saracens for whom Ross played before he fairly recently lost his battle against cancer. 

Monies from the game will benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The City manager is amongst former players such as Claus Bech Jorgensen; Dave Bennett; Peter Billing; David Busst; Willie Carr; Paul Culpin; Tony Dobson; Dean Emerson; Bobby Gould; Micky Gynn; Marcus Hall; Jim Holmes; Steve Ogrizovic; David Phillip and Brian ‘Harry’ Roberts along with Lee Carsley.

Kick off at the Ricoh Arena is at 1pm and admission is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions. You can pay on the day and are advised to, rather than pay more by buying tickets in advance via the Ticket Factory and then donate the money you saved to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
