Pressley Target Looking Unlikely

City Boss To Miss Out On Maghoma?

Coventry City Manager Steven Pressley has admitted that his attempts to sign Burton Albion's Jacques Maghoma look likely not to succeed.

Pressley had been hugely interested in the 25 year old who scored eighteen times for The Brewers last season but a number of other clubs including those at Championship level are also interested in the out of contract player.

“We’ve not given up but at this moment in time the Jacques Maghoma deal looks unlikely,” said Pressley, who has held talks with the player, to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.

“He is a player that we were interested in. “He’s a freedom of contract player but has potentially got higher offers from clubs in the Championship. If that’s the case it is going to be difficult but not impossible."
