Coventry City manager Steven Pressley is interested in signing the Scottish defender he has on trial.
The centre half played well for City U21's against Barnsley and is also understood to have put in another good performance for the U21's against Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday.
Pressley said at last night's Fans Forum at the Standard Triumph Club about the left sided defender: “He’s done very well and we’re trying to see if we can bring him in because we believe he could develop into a very good player at this football club.
“We’ll be working hard over the next few days to see if there’s a possibility of bringing him in.
"The one difficulty we have with him is that there’s quite substantial compensation hanging over him and that’s an area we’ll have to negotiate on.”
