City Boss On Low Crowds

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has rejected comments that playing in front of low crowds is a disadvantage to his his team

FA Cup Replays outside the Third Round, bar the odd local derby, are not generally well supported at the best of times and City go into tonight's FA Cup Second Round Replay against Hartlepool United on the back of their lowest crowd at Sixfields of 1618.

Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner when asked if low crowds were a hindrance: “No, not at all.

“I have said before it’s not the situation we would like but we have to accept it and make do the best we can with the current circumstances.

"This will be a big test for us but we have dealt with that for the vast majority of the season and I was really pleased with our performance at the weekend.”
