City Boss On Players Doing Extra Training

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has admitted his delight at the amount of players who are staying behind for extra training.

“There was a group of ten players on Wednesday afternoon after a really intense session in the morning, out working on various parts of their game,” Pressley said to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.

“There was a period where there were four or five going out but there were ten this week, which is fantastic.

“They were doing short passing or technical work but it’s still hugely pleasing to see that because sometimes in football you get that where people go out when the weather is nice and when the bad weather comes in you don’t generally see so many going out.

“But the weather has turned a little bit and there were still ten out there so I think that proves there has been a change in culture at the club, and long may that continue.”
