Coventry City manager Steven Pressley feels that Saturday's game at Port Vale is going to be a testing affair for his players.

City are expected to take around 4,000 fans, depending on how many fans are not put off by the reports of poor policing and police dogs biting innocent people which occured the last time Vale had a big crowd, in a gate which could be around the 12,000 mark and the City boss wants his side to show their mettle.

"There will be 4,000 of our supporters at the game, potentially 12,000 in total, so it makes it a very interesting game and a really difficult one, it will be like a cup-tie atmosphere," said Pressley to the Press Association.

"That brings a real challenge to us, they'll be hugely motivated by that and it's going to be testing. It's a really big pitch, they play aggressive football and, again, we have to show our mettle."
